Playoffs? PLAYOFFS?!?

BCS NEEDS TO GO NOW!!!!

After #1 LSU's loss in triple overtime to Arkansas, conference and NCAA leaders must be scratching their heads and hopefully thinking this playoff thing could be good for the Football Bowl Subdivision (or 1-A, FBS sounds stupid). Only Kansas remains as a BCS conference unbeaten and that could very well change tomorrow in Kansas City. If the Jayhawks lose we could see two 1 loss teams playing for the National Championship. If this is not the best year to call for a playoff I don't what is. Imagine an eight team playoff looking like so (with LSU winning the SEC, West Virginia the Big East, Missouri the Big 12, USC the Pac-10, Ohio State the Big Ten, and Virginia Tech the ACC, and Hawaii goes undefeated).

4. Virginia Tech (ACC Champion)
5. Southern California (Pacific Ten Champion)

3. Ohio State (Big Ten Champion)
6. Louisiana State (SEC Champion)

2. West Virginia (Big East Champion)
7. Kansas (At Large)

Who doesn't want to see that VT-USC matchup in the first round. We could see OSU-WVU in the semi-finals and maybe see USC make a run to the championship. Who knows, Colt Brennan could cause headaches and Hawaii beats Missouri in the first.
